Doris Secures Five-Year BP Contract for Offshore Wind Engineering Services
Engineering services provider Doris has been awarded a five-year framework agreement for engineering services on offshore wind projects by BP. This contract encompasses BP's global operations and seeks to leverage Doris' experience in established and growing offshore wind markets to support BP's goal of achieving 50 GW of net renewable generating capacity worldwide by 2030.
Doris, in collaboration with its strategic partner Turner & Townsend, will provide concept development, front-end engineering and design (FEED), pre-FEED, and detailed design services. With over two decades of involvement in offshore wind, Doris has worked on more than 90 GW of projects across 17 countries.
The company has been named the principal designer for the Broadshore and Bellrock floating offshore wind projects, with a combined capacity of 2.1 GW, as part of the UK's 2022 ScotWind leasing round. In June, Doris also signed a master services framework agreement with Equinor for offshore wind and low-carbon projects, covering owner's engineering and design services.
Doris' Chief Commercial Officer, Christophe Sarri, expressed his satisfaction with the global agreement with BP and highlighted the company's commitment to making renewable energies a reality. This partnership reflects Doris' vision and expertise to contribute to BP's offshore wind portfolio's key projects.
